Louise Salvador and Kenny Clayton opened the doors to Milagros in 1994.
Located in the historic town of Sonoma, Milagros is nestled in a charming courtyard surrounded by stucco walls, a garden fountain and local roosters making their infamous rounds. The couple travel three times a year to various parts of Mexico in search of the finest quality contemporary and antique folk art. Louise and Kenny take pride in hand selecting each piece and working closely with some of Mexico's most acclaimed artisans.
Milagros has become a favorite among locals as well as tourists visiting the area. In The Secret Wine Country Kathleen Hill states. "Milagros is one of our favorites, Milagros means miracles and this is one." Customers keep coming back because of the personal service and quality care; the two will take that extra step.
The Gallery reflects the originality and creativity of both the owners who show an uncommon style. The store's colorful displays and changing of merchandise always give the customers something new and exciting to see. At Milagros they have created a visual impression unlike any other, with a kaleidoscope of color and selected quality folk art from their numerous trips to Mexico. |
